HG-100 Running Costs and Heating Options
What the machine itself draws: Fan, drum drive and controls account for about 5.2 kWh in service. That figure stays roughly constant regardless of which heating source you specify, which is why heating is the number that actually moves your operating cost.
Three ways to heat it: Steam consumption runs 90 to 120 kg per hour depending on load and moisture level. On LPG or natural gas the figure is about 6 m³ per hour. An electric-heated build is rated at 60 kW and consumes roughly 43.2 kWh per hour under standard operating conditions, though at 100 kg capacity that is normally the most expensive option to run and suits sites with no steam or gas supply.
Bidirectional drum, and why it matters for cost: Reversing rotation stops large sheets roping into a ball, which is what causes a load to come out damp in the middle and go back for a second pass. Fewer repeat cycles is a direct saving that never shows on a specification sheet.
Certification and delivery: CE certified against the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC Directives, with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 held at company level. Lead time is usually 10 to 15 days from order confirmation.

FAQ: HG Series Industrial Tumble Dryer
The HG-100’s 100kg capacity and high-efficiency drying technology make it perfect for processing large volumes of laundry quickly, ideal for industrial laundries and large hotels.
Our HG-100 incorporates advanced moisture sensing and airflow technology, optimizing energy use while maintaining rapid drying cycles for maximum efficiency.
Yes, the HG-100 features customizable programs and temperature controls, allowing it to safely and effectively dry a wide range of fabrics used in industrial and hospitality settings.
Our tumble dryers are designed to operate on a standard 380V/50Hz three-phase power supply, suitable for industrial and commercial laundry applications. We also offer customized power configurations to meet the specific voltage standards of any country. Additionally, our dryers come with three versatile heating options: steam, LPG/NG, or electric. This flexibility ensures the dryers can be adapted to various on-premise laundry environments, from hotels and hospitals to restaurants and gyms.
The dryers use advanced heating methods—steam, LPG/NG, or electric—each offering energy-efficient solutions depending on the infrastructure of your laundry facility. Steam heating is ideal for locations with an existing steam supply, while LPG/NG and electric heating are perfect for facilities without central steam systems. The choice of heating method can significantly reduce energy costs and optimize drying times in various on-premise laundry settings, such as hotels, healthcare facilities, and fitness centers.
Regular maintenance of the tumble dryer includes cleaning the lint filter, inspecting the exhaust fan for proper airflow, and ensuring that the selected heating system (whether steam, LPG/NG, or electric) is functioning efficiently. Routine checks help prevent breakdowns, maintain consistent drying performance, and extend the life of the machine. This is especially important for high-traffic laundry facilities like hospitals, restaurants, and large hotels where the dryer is used frequently.
