HG-100T Split-Door Tumble Dryer: Specifications and Where It Fits
The HG-100T is a 100 kg industrial tumble dryer, built on the same platform as the HG-100 with one change: a split door, divided into an upper and a lower half that open separately. Drum, drive, heating and footprint are identical to the HG-100.
Key specifications
- Cage: Ø1,450 × 1,250 mm, 2,064 litres, 28 rpm, reversing. Large sheets do not rope into a ball, so fewer loads come back for a second pass.
- Heating: steam at 0.4–0.6 MPa, 90–120 kg/h, or gas (LPG / natural gas) at about 6 m³/h. An electric-heated build is available for sites with neither.
- Exhaust: 6,000 m³/h through a 310 × 310 mm outlet. All HG and HSG dryers are open-exhaust; there is no heat-pump or condenser version.
- Load: 5.2 kW total machine input, about 5.2 kWh drawn in service — fan, drum drive and controls. That figure barely moves with the heating source you choose.
- Footprint: 1,630 × 2,020 × 2,440 mm, 1,300 kg.
Where it fits: the split door is the reason to pick this build: a laundry room where a full-width door cannot swing clear, or where the linen is loaded over the top half. The 100 kg capacity puts it in the range that central plants, hospital laundries and large hotels work at, normally as two or more dryers behind a bank of washer extractors. If steam cost is the constraint, the HSG-100 dries more linen per hour on less steam and is the machine to compare; if the load is mainly hotel bath towels, stay with the HG drum, which keeps terry loft. HOZO Laundry builds the T variant on the same platform as the standard machine, so the only decision is the door.
