- YF Series front-in/front-out — compact design for space-limited facilities
- Working width from 1,400 to 3,300 mm, customizable to your linen dimensions
- Steam, electric, and gas heating options — low pressure 0.4–0.6 MPa, no boiler upgrade needed
- Outperforms traditional chest-type ironers in throughput, consistency, and energy efficiency
HOZO Flatwork Ironer Product Lines
HOZO offers three flatwork ironer lines to match every operation: Y Series (Standard) — 1 to 6 rolls, working width up to 3,300 mm, speed 3–60 m/min. Available in steam, electric, and gas heating. The proven workhorse for commercial and industrial laundry. YH Series (Heavy-Duty) — 6-roll configuration with thick heating drums (8–12 mm vs standard 4 mm). Maintains consistent ironing quality at maximum speed. Simpler structure than S-type ironers with lower maintenance and failure rates. YF Series (Front In-Out) — Compact single-roll design where linen enters and exits from the front. Ideal for facilities with limited floor space or no rear access.
All HOZO ironers use roller-type construction — linen passes through heated Ø800mm rollers continuously, delivering higher throughput and more consistent results than chest-type ironers.
Choose 1 to 6 rolls based on your throughput needs. More rolls = higher speed (up to 60 m/min with 6 rolls). Scale up as your business grows without replacing the entire machine.
Steam (0.4–0.6 MPa), electric, or gas (LPG/NG) heating — selected at order to match your facility infrastructure and local energy costs.
YH Series thick drums (8–12 mm) store more thermal energy, preventing temperature drops at high speed. Result: consistent quality from first sheet to last, even at peak production.

Selection Guide & Installation Requirements
Three Flatwork Ironer Series for Different Operations
HOZO manufactures three series of roller-type flatwork ironers. Each serves a different operational profile — choose based on your daily volume, floor space, and quality requirements.
| Series | Y Series (Standard) | YH Series (Heavy-Duty Thick Drum) | YF Series (Front-In/Front-Out Compact) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roll count | 1–6 rolls | 6 rolls | 1 roll |
| Roll diameter | 800 mm | 800 mm (8–12 mm thick wall) | 800 mm |
| Working width | 1,400–3,300 mm | Up to 3,300 mm | Up to 3,300 mm |
| Heating | Steam / Electric / Gas | Steam / Gas | Steam / Electric / Gas |
| Key advantage | Versatile — covers all capacities from single-roll to 6-roll production lines | Thick drums (8–12 mm) store more thermal energy — temperature stays stable at high speed, consistent quality under heavy load | Front-in/front-out design — linen enters and exits from the same side, ideal for narrow rooms |
| Best for | Hotels, hospitals, laundry plants of any size | Central laundry plants running 16+ hours/day where ironing quality cannot drop at peak speed | Laundry rooms with limited depth — no rear clearance needed for linen exit |
Why Thick Drums Matter (YH Series)
Standard 4 mm drum walls lose surface temperature when wet linen passes through at high speed — the fabric absorbs heat faster than the steam can replenish it. YH Series drums at 8–12 mm wall thickness store significantly more thermal energy, maintaining stable ironing temperature even during continuous high-speed operation. This is basic thermodynamics: thicker wall = larger thermal mass = more consistent output. For plants running multiple shifts, this means no quality drops during peak hours.
Roll Count Selection
- 1–2 rolls — Small hotels (under 100 rooms), clinics, compact laundry rooms
- 3–4 rolls — Mid-size hotels (100–300 rooms), regional hospitals
- 5–6 rolls — Central laundry plants, large hotel groups, high-volume operations (5–6 rolls available in steam and gas heating only)
Installation Requirements
- Steam pressure: 0.4–0.6 MPa — compatible with standard industrial boilers, no upgrades needed. Same steam system works with HOZO’s HPT pillowcase ironing line.
- Working width options: 3,300 / 3,000 / 2,800 / 2,600 / 2,100 / 1,800 / 1,400 mm — customizable to your linen size and floor space.
- Voltage: 3-phase 380V 50Hz standard, customizable per market.
- Integration: All ironers connect directly with GSB Series linen feeders and ZD Series linen folders for a complete finishing line.

FAQ — HOZO Flatwork Ironers
Y Series uses standard drums (4 mm wall thickness), available in 1–6 roll configurations. YH Series uses thick drums (8–12 mm) in a 6-roll configuration, maintaining consistent quality at maximum speed.
Standard: 3,300 mm. Options: 3,000 / 2,800 / 2,600 / 2,100 / 1,800 / 1,400 mm. Custom widths available on request.
Steam is cheapest if you have a boiler. Electric needs no infrastructure but costs more per kg. Gas suits facilities without steam where gas is affordable. All three deliver the same ironing quality.
Depends on daily volume. 1–2 rolls for small operations, 3–4 for mid-size, 5–6 for large plants. More rolls = higher speed (up to 60 m/min). Contact us with your daily kg for a recommendation.
