XGQ-50F 50 kg Washer Extractor: Specifications and Where It Fits
The XGQ-50F is a 50 kg washer extractor, the mid-size model in the XGQ range. The drum measures Ø1,070 × 600 mm, about 540 litres, and extraction runs at 700 rpm, up to 293 G, on a 5.5 kW motor with a 7.5 kW inverter.

- Drum: Ø1,070 × 600 mm, about 540 litres, which works out at roughly 10.8 litres per kilogram of rated load, against the usual industry benchmark of 10 L/kg. You can check any machine the same way: measure the drum, work out its volume, divide by the rated capacity.
- Extraction: 700 rpm, up to 293 G, with a 5.5 kW motor on a 7.5 kW inverter.
- Utilities: steam at 0.4–0.6 MPa, about 35 kg/h; 800 litres per one-wash, two-rinse cycle; 100 L/h of compressed air. In service it draws about 3.96 kWh, covering the drive, inverter and controls.
- Footprint: 1,650 × 1,650 × 1,900 mm, 2,500 kg. Fully suspended, as is normal at this capacity, and it runs steadily without foundation bolts.
- Build: 304 stainless steel on water-contact parts, with SOC V-type water seals in a double-seal arrangement.
Where it fits: a 50 kg machine suits smaller hotels, care homes and on-premise laundries. Below that, the 30 kg XGQ-30F does the same work on a smaller footprint and about 20 kg/h of steam. For larger daily volumes, the range steps up to the 100 kg XGQ-100F. Where infection control rules require soiled and clean linen to be kept apart, the barrier GLX-50 is the equivalent size in that range.

Operating Figures and Materials: XGQ-50F
Floating suspension, ordinary floor: The suspension absorbs extraction forces, which is why this model installs on a standard floor without a reinforced foundation. Running load is about 3.96 kWh, with 800 litres per one-wash, two-rinse cycle and 100 L/h of compressed air.
Heating choice: On steam the XGQ-50F uses roughly 35 kg per hour. Smaller plants without a boiler more often justify the electric-heated build at this capacity than they do at 100 kg and above.
Components that decide lifespan: TWB heavy-duty bearings (Timken-licensed, specified for commercial laundry) and SOC V-type water seals, with 304 stainless steel on water-contact parts. Worth asking every supplier the same question and getting the answer in writing.
