Compact Barrier Washer for Medium-Sized Healthcare Facilities
The GLX-50 is a 50kg capacity barrier washer extractor built for medium-sized healthcare laundries — clinics, laboratories, and hospital wings where strict contamination separation is required but floor space doesn’t support larger barrier systems.
A full-height single-chamber pass-through partition keeps dirty-side loading and clean-side unloading physically separated, supporting HACCP and infection control protocols. 910mm drum diameter, 897mm depth, G-force up to 240 for short-cycle extraction. Programmable wash cycles accommodate surgical linens, patient gowns, scrubs, and mixed healthcare textiles.
Typical users: 100-500 bed hospitals with on-site linen service, diagnostic labs, clinics with in-house laundry, specialty care facilities.

GLX-50: Utilities, Components and Documentation
Mid-size barrier washing: Built for wards and clinics that need contamination control without 100 kg batch sizes. Electrical load in service is about 3.96 kWh, water use 800 litres per one-wash, two-rinse cycle, compressed air 100 L/h.
Steam specification: Around 35 kg of steam per hour. The GLX range is designed for steam heating rather than electric, which suits hospital sites that already run a boiler for sterilisation.
Materials: TWB heavy-duty bearings (Timken-licensed for laundry duty), SOC V-type water seals, 304 stainless steel where water makes contact. The same component specification as the 100 kg barrier model.
Documentation and delivery: CE against the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC Directives; ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Reference numbers provided for tender files. Normally 10 to 15 days from order confirmation.
